When digital nomad tourists decide to become locals
There are many examples that tourists, who came to Montenegro for only a few days, stayed here to live on their first return.
That is exactly how Iris and Oleg from Crimea fell in love with our country. Love continues through the promotion of Montenegrin beauties on their networks. It was their video from Durmitor that thrilled us and motivated us to ask them which part of Montenegro they especially like.
Oleg and Iris have been living with their family in Montenegro since 2019, in Budva. As they say, enough that they have already become "domestic" here. Oleg speaks Montenegrin, while their son goes to kindergarten. They are engaged in digital marketing, and every day they enjoy a life that is, they say beautiful, in a small country with a lot of opportunities.
As we have the experience of living in Kiev, Moscow, Sevastopol and Simferopol, we decided that this is the best place for us and our child," they say.
They were almost everywhere in Montenegro."Every part of the coast and every mountain is beautiful, but we have to say that the north of the country is amazing! On the other hand, the Bay of Kotor is something that must be experienced at least once in a lifetime ", say our interlocutors....
Durmitor, however, stole their hearts.
"It is the best place for our soul. "Last July, we were there, exploring different mountain locations, and it was amazing," they said.
A part of the adventure was filmed and showed us why Durmitor is so magnificent.Iris and Oleg, whenever they can, persuade their friends to come to Montenegro."We always tell them that life here is much better and of better quality, and we are sure they will join us someday," they conclude.
