Montenegro Montenegro was presented to German viewers as an attractive tourist destination through the documentary "Magnificent Vacation between the Adriatic Sea and the Mountains", as part of the popular show "Wunderschön" on the public service "WDR". The documentary is the result of a visit by the "WDR" news team, who stayed in our country during May, with the support of the National Tourist Organization. Well-known TV personality, presenter Ramon Babazadeh took viewers through the beauty of Lake Skadar, Ulcinj, Kotor, Herceg Novi, Danilovgrad, Kolašin, as well as Durmitor National Park.

Special emphasis is placed on natural beauty, cultural and historical sights, but also adrenaline activities such as kite surfing and rafting on the Tara River. Babazadeh says in the show that Montenegro is a perfect destination that has a lot to offer, and that it is strange that Germans are not fully familiar with the variety of tourist offers. I got to know the wild beauty of this Balkan country, mountain landscapes, beautiful coasts, and incredibly warm people with whom we socialized by the campfire and tried river fish. Sandy beaches, the coast of Kotor, the largest lake in the Balkans, the crystal clear Tara River and hospitable hosts made this trip unforgettable," said Babazadeh.

As special tourist attractions, the presenter singles out the fortress of St. John in Kotor, one of the most beautiful caves - the Blue Cave, the Ostrog monastery, the luxurious beaches on Ada Bojana, as well as the magnificent bridge on Đurđevića Tara. During his stay, he also got to know the Germans who have been living in our country for a certain period of time, and say that they are fascinated by Montenegro.
Halga and Igor, who have been living in Tivat for several years, point out that the game of sea and mountains in Montenegro is beautiful, and that they feel completely safe in our country.

"We have been in Montenegro since 2014 and we are very happy here, we do not regret a single day that we came to this beautiful country. The inhabitants of Montenegro are very kind and hospitable, so everyone feels welcome here. Although it is obvious that I am a foreigner, I have never had any negative or unpleasant situations. I feel very safe and I am happy that women here can travel alone", said Helga.

Alex and Anke say that at first they were not enthusiastic about the idea of living in Montenegro, because it was unknown to them. They point out that already in the first week of their stay in the destination, they changed their minds, and that they feel safer here than in Frankfurt.

The premiere of the documentary "Magnificent Vacation between the Adriatic Sea and the Mountains" was on October 9 on the German television "WDR", while in the following period it will be broadcast in other provinces via public service. The fact that 400,000 people watched the premiere shows the popularity of this television, and it is expected that the broadcast documentary will have a positive effect on the promotion of our country in Germany.

An interesting and detailed show for you about different parts of Montenegro, from the sea and lakes to the Montenegrin mountains, from tourist centers to untouched wild nature.
