A place of special energy - Ada Bojana

ada11

The river island in the extreme south of Montenegro and the border with Albania leaves few indifferent. For decades, true lovers of wildlife, sea, nature, river, wind have been coming to Ada as pilgrimages…

In recent years, sworn fans have left their prejudices at the entrance ? Comfort is becoming an overrated thing and sun, salt, sand and good company are enough. And there is always good company on Ada.

It doesn't matter if you sleep in a tent, a camp, an improvised house or a fishing soybean, your breath imperceptibly catches the rhythm of nature. Life is simple, and the energy of this place calms the soul. If you surrender to it - it will steal your heart forever.

Why spend your summer in Ulcinj ?

Because of the Old Town. The 25-century-old walls testify to the turbulent history of the place where the civilizations of East and West collide. Visit the Balšić Tower, the Palace of Venice, the slave market and listen to incredible stories about the famous Ulcinj pirates.

Because of the Great Beach. All beaches in Montenegro are beautiful, but Ulcinj's Velika plaža is something special. It is in another dimension of the world we are used to. It is 13 km long and is separated from Ada by the river Bojana. Fine sand, which is not found anywhere on the Adriatic, is rich in minerals and very healing. Collect shells, watch meteor showers and the most beautiful sunset in the world.

Sport. Horse riding on Ada is an attraction that has lasted for four decades. Doctors claim that it also has a therapeutic effect, and it is quite certain that you will never forget this experience.

Winds are blowing on Ada, ideal for surfing and sailing. Kiteloop surf center offers kitesurfing classes for beginners but also advanced kiters, for children and adults. In addition to training, it is also known for its very popular bar, good music and great atmosphere.

Food. Under the bridge that connects Ada with the mainland you will find authentic fish restaurants. They are made of wood, like numerous soybeans on Bojana, with terraces above the river. You have to try the fish soup, it is perfect.

Here lunch is prepared slowly, with beer and company, in the courtyards of bungalows, camps and cottages

If you are a fan of nightlife, make-up and glamor, look for another place. He spends his summers on Ada barefoot, unburdened and happy.

Indulge in the pulse of nature, sandy expanse, peace and wilderness. The rest of the story is pure magic.
