Scandinavian, Norwegian Airlines and Chair have announced a seasonal flight to Montenegro
Scandinavian Airlines from June 27 on the Copenhagen-Tivat route
February 21, 2022 Avio 0 Comments Copenhagen, Scandinavian Airlines, Tivat
Given that the great pressure of the economy, both tourism and everyone else, to mitigate the measures brought certain results, the airlines felt free to engage all their capacities as soon as possible in order to raise revenues.
Accordingly, Scandinavian Airlines - SAS announces Copenhagen-Tivat flights every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, from June 27 to August 13.
Flights will be operated on this route in the morning, and the ticket price is around 126 euros in the direction of Copenhagen-Tivat and around 62 euros in the other direction.
The flight on this route lasts 2 hours and 40 minutes.
Only ten days ago, Air Montenegro announced the establishment of a line to Zurich (three times a week - Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), but, as things stand, there will be competition on that line. And it cannot be said that this is unexpected.
Chair Airlines will maintain this route twice a week in April (Mondays and Fridays), and from June 28 to September 13 it will add Tuesday to these two dates. After mid-September, it continues with two flights a week, and so on until October 30, when (for now) is the last officially planned flight for this year.
Norwegian in Tivat: From May 4 from Helsinki, and from June 17 from Oslo
It is known that Scandinavians are aware that they have to come to the warm sea during the summer, which is why they fish every opportunity to get at least a little sun. That is why the Norwegian low-cost airline, Norwegian, tried to provide them with a direct line to the Montenegrin airport "on the foam of the sea" and at the same time earn some money because full planes are expected from the capitals of Norway and Finland.
The Norwegian airline will maintain a route between Oslo and Tivat, from June 17 to August 12, with flights every Tuesday and Friday. The cheapest ticket from the direction of Tivat is about 60 euros, while in the direction of Oslo-Tivat is about 280 euros, and the flight on this route lasts 3h 20 minutes.
As for the flight on the Helsinki-Tivat line, Norwegian will fly every Wednesday from May 4 to October 26. The lowest ticket prices on this line are around 62 euros for one direction, and the flight duration is 3 hours and 15 minutes.
It is characteristic of this airline that at the end of 2020, after several years of hard struggle for its survival, it was declared bankrupt. The drop that spilled over the glass was a loss of 2.6 billion dollars. Still, creditors approved the restructuring, it cut where it should have been cut a long time ago and the company got back on its feet. The fleet is formed exclusively of Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and the business plan of this Norwegian low cost company is to cover the market of its region, and during the summer months it does its best to fly to warm seas.
