A number of prestigious media from Poland recommended Montenegro as a must-see tourist destination this year, the National Tourism Organization (NTO) announced.

These are daily newspapers: Wiadomości Turystyczne, Rynek turystyczny and Puls Biznesu, as well as 27 Polish portals that state that Montenegro is an ideal destination for lovers of outdoor activities, and also for those who want to relax in peace and quiet. Texts about the destination that have been published in the past month reach almost a million readers.

The article entitled "Montenegro - a destination to discover all year round" was published in the most important tourist magazine - Wiadomości Turystyczne. The article states that the tourist offer, combined with good air connections, makes Montenegro an extremely interesting and accessible destination.
"Thanks to its natural diversity and favorable climate with 240 sunny days a year, Montenegro is a country worth traveling to at any time of the year," the article reads.

The prestigious portal in Poland - Gazeta.pl, published an article entitled "Montenegro's natural wonders are perfect for both a short vacation and a longer stay. You will fall in love with this country".
"Montenegro is a relatively small country and you can go from north to south in just a few hours." However, it offers incredible natural diversity. Its mountain peaks, vast forests, hidden lakes and picturesque rivers delight. In addition, there is also an attractive Adriatic coast, rocky and sandy, with many beautiful hidden coves," states the article on the Gazeta.pl portal, which has 5.3 million monthly views.

It is worth discovering the natural wonders of Montenegro during a longer stay, but it is also an ideal destination for a quick and extremely intense city break. A direct flight from Warsaw to Podgorica takes less than two hours.
In addition to the others, one of the most read portals, Interia, stands out, with around 21 million monthly readers. In the article entitled "Montenegro - Off the beaten track", it is stated that Montenegro offers much more than what can be seen in the brochures of tourist agencies.

"Polish tourists associate Montenegro primarily with the sea." Marinas where the yachts of the world's richest people are moored, spectacular views of the Bay of Kotor and Sveti Stefan, charming cities where both the Venetians and the Ottoman Empire left their mark, beautiful beaches, villas and hotels are part of this country. With that, Montenegro stole the hearts of lovers of relaxation on the Adriatic. But it offers much more than what we usually see on the covers of travel agency brochures," the article reads.

According to Monstat data for the first nine months, tourists from Poland made over 40,000 arrivals in collective accommodation, which places them in the top ten markets from which we had the largest number of arrivals

"Given the importance of the Polish market for the tourism of our country, published articles in influential media make a special contribution to the positioning of Montenegro as an attractive travel destination in 2023/24." year", the announcement concludes.
