Over a Hundred Digital Nomads Visit Kotor, Mayor Leads Guests on a Walk Through the Old Town

As part of the third day of the Cross Border Coworking Conference 2025 (CBCC)—the leading regional event dedicated to digital nomads, remote professionals, and coworking communities in the creative and digital economy—participants visited Kotor, where they were welcomed by the Mayor of Kotor, Vladimir Jokić.

Mayor Jokić warmly greeted more than one hundred conference participants, expressing his satisfaction that Kotor had the opportunity to host part of the event that connects innovative and creative professionals.

On his own initiative, he led the guests on a walk through the Old Town, personally revealing its most beautiful corners and stories that make Kotor unique. During the tour, he reminded them that Kotor is listed on UNESCO's Representative List of the World's Natural and Cultural Heritage, confirming its exceptional universal value and rich tradition. 

In his address to participants, he emphasized the strategic importance of Kotor as a destination successfully adapting to modern global trends. He stressed that Kotor offers an authentic experience of natural beauty, rich heritage, and the hospitality of its people.

"Kotor has been known for centuries for maritime affairs and industry. Today, through a strategic decision, we have made tourism our key economic branch, and in that segment, we strive to be among the best," said Jokić.

He invited digital nomads to take the opportunity to explore the city, expressing hope that they would recognize Kotor as an inspiring destination for future events and projects.

This year's edition of the conference is being held in Herceg Novi, with the support of the European Union.
