Air Montenegro, Ryanair and Jet2 winter 23/24 flights
Air Montenegro plans to expand its operations during the 2023/24 winter season, which begins tomorrow and runs until March 30 of next year. The carrier will introduce a new two weekly service between Podgorica and Rome on December 15. Montenegro's former national airline, Montenegro Airlines, maintained flights between the two capitals until the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, while Wizz Air has this year turned the city pair into a seasonal summer route. Furthermore, Air Montenegro has upgraded its seasonal summer flights between Podgorica and Zurich into year-round operations. From Tivat, the airline will increase frequencies to Istanbul from five weekly, during the previous winter, to daily.
The Montenegrin flag carrier is still undecided whether it will follow through with plans to open a base in Tuzla. The carrier had initially intended to station an aircraft in the city and launch flights to ten destinations across Europe. However, the airline has only been granted permits to operate seventh-freedom flights on two of its planned routes - Istanbul and Maastricht - while authorities from Luxembourg are yet to make a final decision on the service request.
Air Montenegro plans to wet-lease either a CRJ900 or an Embraer E190 or E195 aircraft from January 1, 2024 until March 31, 2024, with delivery to take place by December 31, 2023. The jet will operate alongside the airline's two E195s. Furthermore, Air Montenegro is currently in the process of selecting a new passenger service system provider (reservation system), which, once implemented, should enable the airline to sell connecting flights and offer more options to its passengers.

This winter by Ryanair from Podgorica to London, Brussels, Berlin, Gdańsk and Krakow
The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has prepared the 2023/2024 winter flight schedule, which comes into effect at the end of October and will be valid until the end of March
As for the Airport of Montenegro, Ryanair flies only from Podgorica and that:
United Kingdom
London Stansted – every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight on this route takes 2 hours 55 minutes
Belgium
Brussels Charleroi – every Wednesday and Sunday. The duration of the flight on this line is 2 hours 25 minutes.
Germany
Berlin Brandenburg - every Monday and Saturday, and from December 21 to January 4 there will be flights on Thursdays as well. Berlin can be reached from Podgorica after 2 hours and 5 minutes of flight.
Poland
Gdansk and Krakow - to both Polish cities Ryanair will fly every Monday and Saturday. The flight to Gdańsk takes 2 hours 20 minutes, and to Krakow half an hour shorter.
Expected ticket prices on all mentioned flights vary from 25 to 165 euros, depending on additional services and dates. Note that tickets are more expensive around New Year.
We remind you that this is a low-budget airline and that the addition of new destinations is possible, but due to the distinctly seasonal nature of Montenegrin tourism, we should not expect major changes.

Jet2 introduces new routes to Montenegro
From next year, the planes of the British airline will connect London and Birmingham with Tivat
The British low cost airline Jet2 has announced that, in addition to the existing flights from Manchester to Tivat that it launched this season, it will introduce two more seasonal lines with Tivat next year.
Jet2.com flies from Manchester to Tivat from May 1, twice a week - Mondays and Thursdays, until the end of this year's summer IATA season on the last weekend in October.
Due to the great interest of tourists from the British market for vacations in Montenegro, the company recently announced that next year, in addition to flights from Manchester, its planes will also connect Tivat with London, i.e. Stansted Airport there.
Jet2.com announced yesterday that, in addition to these two destinations in Great Britain, starting May 2 this year, it will also introduce seasonal flights from Birmingham to Tivat. Boeing B737-800 aircraft of the British low-cost carrier will operate on that route once a week - on Thursdays during May, so that from June 1 the number of weekly rotations will be increased to two.
