The Kotor–Lovćen Cable Car will begin operating on Friday, May 1, officially marking the start of the 2026 season. One of the most sought-after excursion destinations during the May Day holidays will once again be open to visitors.

For international and regional guests visiting for the first time, the 11-minute cable car ride connects the coast of the Bay of Kotor with Lovćen, offering a unique perspective of the area. The experience culminates with panoramic views from the top over the bay—often described as one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the Mediterranean.

Ahead of the opening, the early ticket purchase campaign is in its final phase and will last for three more days, available exclusively online.

As part of this campaign:

  • A round-trip gondola ticket is available for €14
  • The Alpine Coaster ride costs €8
    All tickets purchased online during this period can be used until May 31, 2026

Pre-season prices from May 1:

  • Gondola (round trip): €20 for adults, €5 for children
  • Alpine Coaster: €10
  • One-way tickets are also available (full price list on the official website)

Special offers during May:

  • 50% discount on gondola tickets for children under 12 (online purchase)
  • Valid weekends only (Saturday & Sunday) until the end of May
  • Free access to the children's playground on weekends

Additional benefits:

  • 15% discount on online gondola tickets for Mastercard and CKB Visa users
  • 20% discount on Fast Track Alpine Coaster for Mastercard premium users

Working hours:

  • Daily: 09:00 – 20:00
  • Tuesdays: from 10:30

Preparations on Lovćen have been completed, while additional attractions and facilities are being developed throughout the seasonfrom new viewpoints and upgraded hiking trails to activities designed for a more active stay in nature.
